About Marshall
You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone!Marshall believes therapy can be a place where you can slow down, be heard without judgment, and begin making sense of what you are experiencing. He brings a calm, genuine, and compassionate presence to the therapeutic relationship while helping clients identify patterns, discover new perspectives, and take meaningful steps toward change.
Marshall works with individuals, couples, and families experiencing relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional concerns. He has particular interests in working with men, military members and veterans, clergy, first responders, couples, and families. His therapeutic style is compassionate, direct, structured, and collaborative. He integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Bowen Family Systems Theory, CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients understand relational patterns, improve communication, and create meaningful change.
His clinical interests include relationship conflict, infidelity and betrayal, divorce and separation, trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, and spiritual concerns. Marshall brings more than 2,000 hours of counseling and helping-profession experience, including military chaplaincy, pastoral counseling, crisis intervention, and law enforcement experience. He is completing his graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University and practices as an MFT Intern under Dr. ‘G’s supervision.

Q: Why is finding the right therapist crucial for a successful therapeutic journey?
A: As a counselor in training, I strive to cultivate a safe, compassionate, and trauma-informed space where individuals experiencing grief and trauma can process their pain with honesty, dignity, and support. My goal is to create an environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to explore their experiences, make meaning of their loss, and begin the healing process at their own pace.
Q: What approach do you take to therapy?
A: I take a client-centered approach to therapy, with a focus on supporting individuals navigating grief and trauma. I integrate evidence-based techniques that are responsive to each client’s unique experiences, needs, values, and goals. By honoring the whole person -mind, body, and spirit. I provide compassionate, personalized care that creates a safe space for processing loss, healing from trauma, and rebuilding a sense of meaning, resilience, and hope.
